Local-CAN Line Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect MFC/LKAS/LDWS and SCC connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 11 (Local-CAN High) terminal of MFC/LKAS/LDWS and Pin No. 7 (Local-CAN High) terminal of SCC.
  5. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 3 (Local-CAN Low) terminal of MFC/LKAS/LDWS and Pin No. 6 (Local-CAN Low) terminal of SCC.

    Specification  : Approx. below 1Ω

  6. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 11 (Local-CAN High) Terminal And Pin No. 3 (Local-CAN Low) terminal of MFC/LKAS/LDWS.

    Specification: ∞  (infinite) Ω

  7. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
