DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check during fuel cut off
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Upstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Fuel cut off active higher than 3s.
  • Sensor pump current valid
  • Sensor heater control: normal heating
  • Exhaust gas temp. higher than 572°F (300°C)
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Threshold value
  • Upstream O2 sensor current lower than 1mA
Diagnosis Time
  • 2s.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving cycles
