Power Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Refer to ETC (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL) SYSTEM and disconnect Throttle Body connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (TPS Supply) terminal of Throttle Body Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5 V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Throttle Body and PCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
