DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate upstream O2 sensor heater performance
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Defected related fuse
  3. Open/Short in Power Circuit
  4. Open/Short in Heater Control Circuit
  5. Faulty Upstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • Upstream O2 sensor normal heating time is higher than 5s.
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip temp. lower than 1, 391°F (755°C)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving cycles
