Repair Procedures: Removal: Notes

CAUTION:
Headlamps become very hot during use; do not touch them or attach any hardware immediately after turning them off.
NOTE:
- The headlamp bulb should not be removed from the headlamp assembly until just before installing a new bulb.
- Leaving the headlamp bulb removed for an extended period of time may degrade the headlamp bulb performance.
- Contaminants may enter the headlamp assembly where they can settle on the lens and reflector.
- Never turn on the headlamps with the bulb removed from the headlamp assembly.
