DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power circuit
  3. Short to ground in signal circuit
  4. TPS2
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Ignition "ON"
Case 2
  • TPS 2 voltage is lower than 0.1V
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Ignition "ON"
  • In idle status
  • Target throttle angle set point is less than 58%
  • TPS 1 failure is detected
Case 2
  • TPS 2 voltage is lower than 2.0V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
