Repair Procedures: Replacement: Disassembly

  1. Loosen the screw (A-3 ea) and then remove the lower cover (B) from the steering wheel body.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  2. Remove the garnish (A).

  3. Remove the wiring (A).

  4. Loosen the screw (A-6 ea) and then remote control switch assembly (B) from the garnish.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  5. Installation is the reverse of the removal.
