Monitor DTC Status

- Ignition "ON".

- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS/GDS.

| Communication Failure |
- If Failure to communication between KDS/GDS and vehicle, check that the KDS/GDS is to communicate with other vehicles. If a problem occurs, perform the above procedure again with the normal KDS/GDS.
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.

| History/Pending Fault |
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
