Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the front seat shield inner cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT SHIELD INNER COVER ")
- Remove the front seat shield outer cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")
- Loosen the front seat cushion track front mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:
44.1 - 53.9 N.m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb.ft)
- Pull up the front seat cushion track.
- Disconnect the rear height motor connector (A).
- Loosen the front seat cushion track rear mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:
44.1 - 53.9 N.m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb.ft)
- After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the front seat cushion track (A).
Tightening torque:
44.1 - 53.9 N.m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb.ft)

- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
