DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in signal circuit
  3. Open or short to ground in power circuit
  4. Barometric Pressure Sensor (BPS)
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Sensor voltage below 0.16V
  • Open or short to ground in signal circuit/Sensor internal error
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
