DTC Description

ECM calculates the deceleration/acceleration of the crankshaft for misfire detection. When a misfire occurs, the exhaust gas may be discharged to 1.5 times more than the reference. Misfire is a cause of the torque reduction. If misfire damage to the catalyst, warning light is flashing 1HZ intervals. When the ECM detects a misfire or the ignition failure during a certain period of time, the ECM sets DTC P030000.

NOTE: If disconnected the injectors or ignition coil for more than 46s to the test vehicle, the ECM sets the DTC and fuel-cut can be performed.
