DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Signal circuit open or short to battery
  3. Ground circuit open
  4. ECTS
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 6V and lower than 16V
  • Intake air temperature is higher than -30°C (-22°F)
  • Intake air temperature is lower than -30°C (-22°F) at 60s after engine "OFF"
Threshold Value
  • ECTS voltage is higher than 4.93V
  • Signal circuit is open/short to power
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
