DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open in power circuit, short to ground
  3. Signal circuit open, short to ground
  4. MAPS
  5. ECM (PCM)
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 6V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • MAP sensor voltage is below 0.2V
  • Control circuit is short to ground/open
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
