DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater circuit monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Power circuit is open
  3. Control circuit is short to ground
  4. O2 sensor (Bank1/Sensor2) heater
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine "ON" (over 32RPM)
  • Exhaust temperature model of O2 sensor (down) is over 400°C (752° F)
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Open or short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
