DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater circuit monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. O2 sensor (Bank1/sensor2) heater
  3. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • O2 sensor (down) heating time is more than 58s
  • Coolant temperature is is lowered to over 25°C (77°F) after engine "OFF"
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • O2 sensor (down) internal resistance is higher than 1kΩ and lower than 22.5kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
