Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" & disconnect the APS connector.
  2. Ignition "ON".
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (APS.1 Signal) terminal of APS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 3.5V

  4. Ignition "OFF" & disconnect the ECM connector.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (APS.1 Signal) terminal APS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (infinite)Ω

  6. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
