DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connection
  2. Signal circuit short to ground
  3. EOTS
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
  • Coolant temperature lower than 120°C (248°F)
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature higher than 150°C (302°F)
  • Signal circuit of sensor is short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
