DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Signal circuit open/short
  3. Ground circuit open
  4. IATS
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than 0°C
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than -30°C
  • Battery voltage is 10V to 16V
Threshold Value
  • IATS voltage is higher than 4.935V
  • IATS control circuit is short to power
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
