Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Before removing the driver side seat assembly, pull it upward to the maximum by pushing the front seat height adjusting switch (A).

  2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
  3. Remove the driver front seat assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  4. Loosen the IMS unit mounting screws (A).

  5. Disconnect the IMS unit connectors (B) and then remove the IMS unit (A).
