Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Place the RH and LH radar sensors on each side to get ready for installation.
  2. Install the radar sensor to the bracket correctly (distinguish RH & LH) with mounting screws and clip.
    CAUTION:
    • The shapes of the LH and RH blind spot detection units are different. Therefore, take notice when installing the blind spot detection units.
    • Radar Sensors must be closed up against the bracket completely.
    • After mounting radar sensors, check for looseness.
  3. Install the rear bumper cover.
  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
