Steering Angle Sensor Calibration

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition "ON"
Perform "EPS Type Recognition" on "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.

Operate vehicle or system according to enable condition.
Check for "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS.
Is DTC present?
YES
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the EPS ECU and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or EPS ECU connector or was repaired and EPS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
