Component Inspection

■ Perform OCV Actuation Test 

1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON & Engine "OFF".
3. Perform "Actuation Test"  for Oil Control Valve - Intake Bank1.

■ Oil Control Valve Inspection 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect OCV connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 1 (Control) terminal of the OCV# 1 (component side).

   Specification:  Approx. 10Ω at 30°C (86 °F)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the OCV operate properly and is the measured resistance within specification? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace OCV and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
