High Pressure Fuel Line
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and then remove the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE .")
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (A).
- Separate PCSV (A) from PCSV bracket (B) to make a gap for removing delivery pipe.
- Disconnect the ignition coil (A) and CMPS connectors (B).
- Unfasten the harness bracket (C) and make a gap for removing the high pressure fuel pipe by moving the bracket (C).
- Remove the vacuum pipe mounting bolts (A).
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipe function block mounting bolt (A) and the high pressure fuel pipe flange nut (B).
High pressure fuel pipe flange nut:
26.5 ~ 32.4 N.m (2.7 ~ 3.3 kgf.m, 19.5 ~ 23.9 lb-ft)
High pressure fuel pipe function block mounting bolt:
9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipe flange nut with the special service tool (A).
[SST No.: 09314-3Q100 or 09314-27130]
High pressure fuel pipe flange nut:
26.5 ~ 32.4 N.m (2.7 ~ 3.3 kgf.m, 19.5 ~ 23.9 lb-ft)
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipe (A).
