Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery terminals (A).
1. Tightening torque
  (+) terminal:
  
  7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)
  
  (-) terminal:
  
  4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)

Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly. (Refer to "AIR CLEANER .")
Remove the battery insulation pad.
Remove the battery (A) after removing the mounting bracket.
Tightening torque:

8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

Remove the ECM.
(Refer to "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) .")
Remove the battery tray (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
