Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the air-bag module from the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Disassemble the steering wheel assembly.

    (Refer to Steering System STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL

  4. Remove the steering remote control (A) after loosening the screw.

  5. Remove the steering remote control connector (A).
