Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the trunk lid trim.
(Refer to Trunk Lid - "TRUNK LID TRIM ")
- Loosen the trunk lid key holder mounting bolts.
- Disconnect the trunk lid key holder cable (A) and remove the trunk lid key holder (B).
Tightening torque:
6.9~10.8 N.m (0.7~1.1 kgf.m, 5.1~8.0 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the trunk lid locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
