Repair Procedures: Replacement

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Kia K900. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from damaging the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  2. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the floor console front tray (A).

  3. Disconnect the connectors (A).

  4. Using a screwdriver or ornament remover, remove both sides of the console side garnish (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting screws (A) located in the back of the rear console cover.

  6. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the rear console cover (A).

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damage clips.
