DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Ground or Open in Fuel Level Sender Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • 200s. delay when failure present
Threshold value
  • Fuel tank level signal voltage lower than 0.08V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving cycles
