Monitor GDS Data

■ EPS Type Recognition 

1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. IG "ON".
3. Monitor Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of trouble code. (Fig 1).
4. Select appropriate coding values for the vehicles and press the enter. (Fig 2).
5. Wait for 20 seconds at the IG switch off status.
6. IG "ON".
7. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  mode again.
8. Are any DTCs present?

9. Are any DTCs present?

   YES 

   • Try to the Variant coding repeatly

     If you can not remedy this problems, replace a steering column & EHPS UNIT ASSY, and carry out the "troubleshooting check" procedure.

   NO 

   • This DTC may temporary, so carry out the "Troubleshooting Check" procedure.
