Component Inspection

■ Slide Motor Check 

1. Connect GDS.
2. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
3. Select "Actuation Test" mode.
4. Perform "Move P/SEAT to the Foremost/Last Position (SLIDE)" actuation test below.

   Specification:  Turned to pressed direction

5. Is motor working normal?

   YES 

   • Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.

   NO 

   • Go to next procedure.

■ Check Switch 

1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
2. After connect GDS, select "Current Date" menu.
3. Check if a power of a driver Slide sensor changes normally when operating the driver Slide Switch into the Forward/Backward side.

   Specifications:  Approx. 2080 edge - Degree at the maximum operation to Forward.

   Approx. 1200 edge - Degree at the maximum operation to Backward.

4. Is the service data normal?

   YES 

   • Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known - good component and check for proper operation.

     If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
