Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON".
  3. Select "Current Data  " mode and monitor "SPORTS MODE SELECT S/W, SPORTS MODE UP S/W, SPORTS MODE DOWN S/W" parameters.
  4. Change shift lever to "Sports Mode".

  5. Is Sports Mode Switch working within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact between PCM/TCM and Sensor, and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
