DTC Description

When replacing a PCM, the VIN must be programmed into the PCM. If there is no VIN in the PCM memory, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) turns on and PCM sets a P0630 DTC.

CAUTION: The programmed VIN cannot be changed. When writing the VIN, confirm the VIN carefully.
