System Inspection
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- IG key "ON".
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) " with GDS.
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Check for correct variant coding.
- If wrong variant coding is written, perform variant coding with correct option.
NO
- If same DTC is stored after correctly performed variant coding, substitute with a known-good "BSD ECU" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "BSD ECU" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
