Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Communication Check
  1. Passenger side Body Sense sensor Mat & ECU Communication line (CAN Line).
  2. Poor connection of connected part.
  3. Passenger side Body Sense sensor Mat & ECU
  4. Faulty SRSCM.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • CAN High and Low Line short to ground coincident
  • CAN High and Low Line short to battery coincident
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • 10 consecutive Bus OFF
De-Qualification
  • First Correct Transmission
