DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Max error of Difference of setpoint angle and actual angle during Cold start strategy
  1. Poor connection
  2. Contamination of Oil/Clog of Oil path
  3. CKPS, CMPS
  4. OCV
  5. CVVT
Enable Conditions
  • Time after engine start greater than 3sec
  • Catalyst heating Active
  • Engine speed greater than 1000rpm
Threshold value
  • Difference of Setpoint angle and Actual angle greater than 10 deg
Diagnosis Time
  • 5 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
