Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install the ODS equipped seat cushion assembly. (Refer to "FRONT SEAT INSTALLATION " Seat)
  2. Install the front passenger seat assembly.

    (Refer to the "CUSHION ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION " Body Procedure - seat)

  3. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
  4. After installing the ODS, confirm proper system operation:
    • Turn the ignition switch ON the SRS indicator should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
    • Telltale lamp will turn on for 4 seconds and be turned off for 3 seconds. After the 7 seconds, it shall remain off if the ODS does not require suppression and the passenger airbag is enabled.
