Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
  3. Refer to "PAS SENSOR CONNECTOR REMOVAL " and disconnect Front & Rear PAS Sensor connector.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 4 (Ground) terminal of each Front & Rear PAS sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1 Ω

  5. Is measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open or short in power circuit between concerned Front & Rear PAS Sensor and Chassis ground and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
