LIN Communication Inspection

Ignition "OFF"
Refer to "PAS SENSOR CONNECTOR REMOVAL " and remove necessary parts to get access to Front & Rear PAS Sensor connector.
Ignition "ON"
Back probe and measure signal waveform between Pin No. 1 (LIN) terminal of each Front & Rear PAS sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to Fig 1 below

Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace concerned Front & Rear Sensor and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
