Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF"
Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
Refer to "PAS SENSOR CONNECTOR REMOVAL " and disconnect Front Left PAS Sensor connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 4 (Ground) terminal of front left PAS sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω
Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Front Left PAS Sensor and Chassis ground and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
