DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Additive Long Term Fuel Trim upper limit reached
  1. Air leakage
  2. Improper fuel pressure
  3. PCSV stuck
  4. Clogging of injector
Enable Conditions
  • Torque greater than 5.8 % and less than 30 %
  • Engine speed less than 1000 rpm
  • ECT greater than 60 °C (140 °F)
  • IAT less than 80 °C (176 °F)
  • Fuel System Status: Closed loop
  • Canister purge control off
Threshold Value
  • Long Term Fuel Trim (additive) greater than 7.50 %
Diagnostic Time
  • 80 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving cycle
