Repair procedures: Removal

Be sure to shut off the high voltage circuit according to the "High Voltage Shut-off Procedures" before doing any work related with the high voltage system to avoid serious electrical injuries. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE .

Change the shift lever to "N" range.
Remove the valve body assembly. (Refer to VALVE BODY )
Disconnect the input & output speed sensor connector (A).
Loosen the main connector bolt (B).
Tightening torque:

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

Disconnect the solenoid valve connector (A).

Remove the solenoid valve connector clip (B) after loosening a bolt and then remove the connector (A) by pushing it down.
