Component Inspection: Notes

■ "Oil Temperature Sensor" Inspection 

1. Ignition off.
2. Disconnected Oil temperature sensor connector.
3. Measure the resistance across the two terminals of the Oil temperature sensor.

   Specification :  View below OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR SPECIFICATION TABLE

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to PCM/TCM INSPECTION 

   NO 

   • Replace Oil temperature sensor as necessary and then go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR  procedure.
