DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to power in IAT signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. Defected Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
Enable Conditions
  • ECT is higher than 167°F(75°C)
  • Air mass is lower than 32 kg/h
  • Vehicle speed is lower than 7 mph (11.2 km/h)
Threshold value
  • Measured voltage of temperature sensor is higher than 3.28V
Diagnosis Time
  • 1 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
