DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Defected Inhibitor Switch Circuit
  3. Defected Inhibitor Switch
  4. Defected PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal Battery Voltage
  • Engine Speed higher than 1500 RPM
Threshold value
  • Invalid Range Signal is detected
Detecting Time
  • Limp home mode (shift 3rd ~ 6th gear is OK but 1st, 2nd gear not engaged)
Fail safe
  • 4 Sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
