Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module.

    (Refer to "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "REMOVAL ")

  4. Disengage the steering wheel remote switch connector assembly.

    (Refer to "AUDIO REMOTE CONTROL ")

  5. Remove the flex steering switch (A).

  6. Installation is the reverse of the removal.
    CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the switch connector is plugged in properly.
