System Inspection

Check intake system for blockage
1. Visually/physically inspect the following items:
  - Air cleaner filter element for excessive dirt or foreign objects
  - Hoses of intake system for blockage
  - Throttle body inlet for damage or foreign objects
  - Throttle plate for carbon deposits or damage
2. Has a problem been found in any of the areas above?
  YES
  - Repair as necessary. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Clear DTC and test drive under the enable conditions listed above. After the test, if this DTC is set, refer to the appropriate service information and check the intake system. If not, troubleshooting is complete.
