DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. External noise
  2. Faulty pressure sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Outside an ABS/TCS/ESC control, If input signal is noisy, Which the gradient of the sensor signal is larger than 15 bar, ECU detect the failure
  • Outside an ABS/TCS/ESC control, and after normal operation of BLS, If the pressure sensor signal is higher than 15 bar and BLS is low for 3 sec, ECU detect the failure
  • During driving more than 40 KPH and stop 3 times, if MCP is not changed, ECU detect the failure
Fail Safe
  • Inhibit the ESP (ESC) control and allow the ABS/EBD control
  • The ESP (ESC) warning lamp is activated
