Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
  1. Remove the following parts.
    1. Front pillar trim
    2. Inside rear view mirror
    3. Rain sensor

      (Refer to Rain Sensor in appropriate step under "ROOF TRIM ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT ")

    4. LDWS unit

      (Refer to "LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS) UNIT ")

    5. Auto defog sensor

      (Refer to "AUTO DEFOGGING SENSOR (DATC ONLY) )

    6. Wiper arm
    7. Cowl top cover
    8. Windshield glass deicer connector

      (Refer to "WINDSHIELD DEICER " )

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the windshield moulding (A).

  3. Cut out the sealant using the sealant cutting tool (09861-31100).

  4. Remove the windshield glass (B) carefully using the glass holder (A).
