Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  3. Disconnect the TCM connector (A).

  4. Remove the TCM after removing the mounting bolts (A-2ea) and nut (B).

    TCM installation bolt/nut: 

    9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
