Repair Procedures: Removal

- Remove the front wheel & tire.
- Disconnect the power steering pressure tube from the power steering pump by loosening the eye-bolt.
- Loosen the bolt (A) and then disconnect the universal joint assembly (B) from the pinion of the steering gear box.
CAUTION: Keep the neutral-range to prevent the damage of the clock spring inner cable when you handle the steering wheel.
- Drain the power steering fluid by disconnecting the return hose (A).
- Disconnect the stabilizer link (A) from the front strut assembly by loosening the nut.
- Remove the split pin (A) and castle nut (B).
- Disconnect the tie-rod end (A) from the front knuckle by using SST (09568-34000).
- Remove the split pin and bolt and nut (A) and then Disconnect the lower arm (B) ball joint with the knuckle.
- Remove the muffler rubber hanger (A).
- Loosen the front and rear roll stopper mounting bolts (A, B).
- Remove the sub-frame (A) and sub-frame stay by loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.
- Remove the stabilizer bar from the sub-frame by loosening the bracket (A) mounting bolts.
- Disconnect the stabilizer link (A) with the stabilizer bar by loosening the nut.
- Remove the bushing (A) and the bracket (B) from the stabilizer bar.
